Plastic Nature Exhibition
Over the past year, pupils from all classes in Ennis National School have been involved in a Creative Schools Project to create replications of native wildlife animals from recycled materials. The creations are now being exhibited in the Clare Museum ad will be moved to a permanent place in the school in December. Children worked with artist Evelyn Sorohan on the creations and the project was led by teacher Eamonn Corry. At the launch of the exhibition on October 24th, pupils Sally Cleary, Abi Leonard and Millie Murphy described the project, the process of creating the artistic pieces and the collaboration of the entire school community to facilitate the project. The Men’s Shed in Ennis assisted with mounting the pieces and with the installation of the pieces in Clare Museum. This is an amazing project for our school!
