National Badminton Competitions
Our badminton squad headed to Dublin at 6am on Wednesday morning to take part in the national competitions for schools. They were accompanied by coach Mr. Gary Walsh and Ms. Naomi McMahon.
All the boys and girls played well and the team of Áine, Eva, Kayla and Aoife made it to the semi-finals!
The students were lucky enough to meet badminton Olympian Sam McGee who posed for photos with them. Congratulations to all our players – Johnny, David K., David N., Fatima, Ruth, Nusrat, Conor, Thomas, Jack, Aoife, Kayla, Áine, Eva, Aidan, Daniel, Mohammed and Caoilainn.
