Glaoch! 3rd Class Radio Program

3rd Class were extremely lucky to be chosen to take part in ‘Glaoch – A Schools Recording Project’. Over the course of 7 weeks, the pupils worked with John Lillis (a multi-disciplinary artist based in Ennistymon, Co. Clare). The children wrote, produced and recorded their own work. They had lots of fun learning how John’s recording equipment worked and seeing how a radio program could be made from start to finish. The children shared stories, music, songs, jokes, dreams and interviewed some local heroes. The children took full ownership over the project and the results are fantastic!
