Parents’ Association AGM

The AGM of the Parents’ Association took place on Thursday 17th October. A very comprehensive overview of the year’s activities was presented with the Parents Association involved in the organisation of many events, the development of a ‘Welcome Pack’ for new parents, and the provision of new resources and playground equipment for the school. An overview was provided of the various subcommittees that have been established and the role of each subcommittee. The overall theme was of supporting the school to provide for the pupils and for ensuring that the Parents’ Association remains vibrant and active. to this end, a new executive position of ‘Communications Officer’ has been added to the amended Constitution of the Parents’ Association. All current officers remain in place for the second year of their two year term and new committee members were elected. The meeting concluded with a brief discussion on upcoming activities including the upcoming Halloween Table Quiz.
