Liam McCarthy Cup visits Ennis NS
On Friday September 13th, the pupils of Ennis NS were treated to a visit of the Liam McCarthy and some of the All Ireland Hurling champions. David McInerney, who is a staff member at Ennis NS was joined by teammates Ryan Taylor, Shane O’Donnell, Tony Kelly and Shane Meehan. The players were introduced to a rapturous welcome in the school hall and then generously gave of the time to take photographs with every class in the school. The visit culminated with hurling skills challenges on our school Astroturf Pitch. Ennis NS greatly appreciates the time given by the players to meet with our pupils. The players were presented with a commemorative card from Ennis NS.
