All Ireland Community Games Swimming Gala

On Sunday May 27th, 4 pupils from Ennis National School took part in the All Ireland Community Games Swimming Gala in University Of Limerick Swimming Pool.  Ronan, Stephen and Leo represented Clare and Ennis St. Johns in the 4 X 25m freestyle relay. They won gold in the relay and touched the wall 16 milliseconds ahead of second place. Leo competed in the 50m back crawl and he won gold.  Stephen competed in the 50m breast stroke and he came 10th  overall.  Jodie competed in the girls 50m breast stroke and she came 8th. This was an unbelievable achievement by our pupils and we hope they continue to bring more success to Ennis.  We are extremely proud of them.
