Inaugural Ennis Schools Badminton Competition
The inaugural Ennis Schools Badminton competition was held in Ennis National School on Thursday Nov 21st. Gary Walsh of Ennis National School and Daryl Eade of Holy Family School organised this event. Ennis National School sponsored two cups and medals. The boys ‘A’ competition winners received the Tom Eade Perpetual Cup and the girls ‘A’ competition winners received the Laura Brennan Memorial Cup. We won both the boys and girls ‘A’ competitions. This was a great achievement. We were runners up in both the boys and girls ‘B’ competitions. We were also runners up in the boys ‘C’ competition. It was a great day and thoughts are turning to making it a whole county competition next year.
