Cycling Bus Takes Off!!!!!!!
A great day today for Ennis National School as we launched the first ever cycling bus in Clare. 10 children took part this morning from Hawthorns Estate at 8:30am and made it up to school for 8:45am. The pace was slow and steady ensuring cyclists were comfortable and felt safe. A big thanks to John Molony, Neil Coffey and Roisin Garvey for getting this started. Also a big thanks to the other parents who took part. It will happen every Friday for the next few weeks. All welcome. On the other days, Neil Coffey will cycle from Hawthorns at 8:30am and he would welcome parent volunteers to come with him. This is a great initiative which needs support to keep going.
