Mayoral Reception
Our school Badminton & Quiz teams were recognised for their outstanding achievements by Mayor of Co Clare, Clare Colleran Molloy on April 24th at Ennis Municipal Offices.
It was a pleasant afternoon for the boys and girls involved with refreshments enjoyed after being awarded certificates of recognition.
The boys badminton players were presented with their certficates for winning silver at the Forza All-Ireland Primary Schools Badminton Competition, held in Baldoyle Badminton Centre in March. The children of ENS have been performing well in this competition over the past number of years and a great base has been built for further success in the future.
The Quiz Team were awarded their certificates for winning the All Ireland Credit Union Primary Schools Competition in April. A big thanks must go to Mr Peter Maher for his support and dedication to the quiz teams in the school over the past number of years – it’s great to see the tradition continuing!
A huge thanks goes to parents for their continued support. Well done to all the boys and girls and to their teachers for promoting & facilitating these extra curricular activities.
