Board of Management Meeting 10th June 2024
The Board of Management met on June 10th. Among the items discussed were the following:
- Confirmation and agreement of order of seniority of school staff
- Voluntary Parent Contribution for the coming school year will remain at €40 per pupil and a maximum of €120 per family
- School Financial report and update
- Letter from our Patron, the Bishop of Killaloe. BOM asked staff to discuss ethos in the context of our school.
- End of year reports from Postholders
- School attendance report. Concerns raised about the numbers of children who are frequently absent from school.
- Child Protection Oversight Report
- School Attendance report
- Themes emerging from the Pupil, Parent and Staff surveys. The emerging themes will be reflected in the Board of Management Strategic Plan for Ennis NS. The Board of Management expressed its appreciation for all the valuable feedback provided in the surveys.
