STEAM challenges.
The children in Mr. Flanagan’s class completed STEAM challenges from the Clare Education’s magazine, ‘Full Steam Ahead’. Each group was given the same amount of unifix cubes, lollipop sticks and plastic cups and were given different challenges to complete;
- Build the tallest structure possible.
- Build a structure that has a balcony.
- Build a structure with only one unifix cube as the base.
The groups had to work together to design their structure on their whiteboard before constructing. Well done everyone!
