Indoor Camogie and Hurling
In the last week, Ennis National School was the venue for the group stage of the indoor hurling and camogie competitions. Our boys played against Clonmoney NS, Clooney NS and Kilmaley NS. The boys put in a massive effort beating Clooney NS and Kilmaley NS. They lost to the overall winners Clonmoney NS on a scoreline of 5-3. Well done to all involved. A big thanks to Mr. Eoin Walsh and Mr. Paddy Vaughan for preparing them for the day.
Our girls played against Clooney NS, Gaelscoil Mhíchíl Cíosóg and Clonmoney NS. They beat Clooney NS and Gaelscoil Mhíchíl Cíosóg. That meant that their game against Clonmoney NS was a winner takes all game. Our girls came out on top on a scoreline of 2-1. This means they are through to the next round of the competition. They played some super camogie. We are very grateful to Mr. David McInerney, Mr. Brian Griffin, Ms. Siobhan Marren, Ms. Michelle McCormack and Ms. Naomi McMahon for helping out.
